Resumen: FinQuest es una herramienta de finanzas personales. No somos asesores financieros. La app te ayuda a organizar tus gastos, pero las decisiones financieras son tuyas.

1. Aceptación de los Términos

Al descargar, instalar o usar FinQuest, aceptás estos Términos de Servicio. Si no estás de acuerdo, no uses la app.

2. Descripción del Servicio

FinQuest es una aplicación de finanzas personales que permite:

Registrar y categorizar gastos e ingresos
Configurar presupuestos y metas de ahorro
Recibir sugerencias de categorización automática
Integración con Apple Pay para registro automático
Generar reportes y visualizaciones de tus finanzas

3. Cuenta de Usuario

Para usar FinQuest necesitás crear una cuenta usando tu correo electrónico, Apple ID o cuenta de Google. Sos responsable de mantener la seguridad de tu cuenta y de toda la actividad que ocurra bajo ella.

4. Suscripciones y Pagos

FinQuest ofrece una versión gratuita con funciones básicas y una suscripción Premium con funciones avanzadas.

Precios: $4.99 USD/mes o $39.99 USD/año
Prueba gratuita: Podemos ofrecer períodos de prueba. Al finalizar, se cobra automáticamente a menos que canceles
Renovación automática: Las suscripciones se renuevan automáticamente al final de cada período
Cancelación: Podés cancelar en cualquier momento desde la configuración de tu cuenta de Apple. La cancelación toma efecto al final del período ya pagado
Reembolsos: Los reembolsos se gestionan a través de Apple según sus políticas

5. Uso Aceptable

Al usar FinQuest, aceptás:

No usar la app para actividades ilegales
No intentar acceder a datos de otros usuarios
No hacer ingeniería inversa ni modificar la app
No usar bots o sistemas automatizados para interactuar con la app más allá de las integraciones oficiales (Apple Pay, Shortcuts)
Proporcionar información precisa al crear tu cuenta

6. Propiedad Intelectual

FinQuest, incluyendo su diseño, código, gráficos, ícono, nombre y contenido, es propiedad de sus creadores. Los datos financieros que ingresás son tuyos. Te otorgamos una licencia limitada, no exclusiva y revocable para usar la app según estos términos.

7. Limitación de Responsabilidad

FinQuest no es un asesor financiero. La app es una herramienta de organización personal. Las sugerencias de categorización, presupuestos e insights generados por la IA son informativas, no constituyen asesoría financiera profesional. Las decisiones financieras que tomes basándote en la información de la app son tu responsabilidad.

En la medida permitida por la ley aplicable:

No garantizamos que la app esté libre de errores o interrupciones
No somos responsables por pérdidas financieras derivadas del uso de la app
No somos responsables por la precisión de la categorización automática
Nuestra responsabilidad total se limita al monto que hayas pagado por la suscripción en los últimos 12 meses

8. Disponibilidad del Servicio

Nos esforzamos por mantener la app disponible, pero no garantizamos disponibilidad 24/7. Podemos realizar mantenimiento, actualizaciones o cambios que afecten temporalmente el servicio. Nos reservamos el derecho de descontinuar el servicio con aviso previo de al menos 30 días.

9. Eliminación de Cuenta

Podés eliminar tu cuenta y todos tus datos en cualquier momento desde Settings → Eliminar Cuenta. También podemos suspender o eliminar cuentas que violen estos términos.

10. Modificaciones

Podemos modificar estos términos en cualquier momento. Te notificaremos de cambios significativos a través de la app o por correo. El uso continuado de la app después de un cambio constituye aceptación.

11. Legislación Aplicable

Estos términos se rigen por las leyes de Costa Rica. Cualquier disputa se resolverá en los tribunales de San José, Costa Rica.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FinQuest, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree, do not use the app.

2. Service Description

FinQuest is a personal finance application that allows you to:

Record and categorize expenses and income
Set up budgets and savings goals
Receive automatic categorization suggestions
Integrate with Apple Pay for automatic recording
Generate reports and visualizations of your finances

3. User Account

To use FinQuest, you need to create an account using your email address, Apple ID, or Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

FinQuest offers a free version with basic features and a Premium subscription with advanced features.

Pricing: $4.99 USD/month or $39.99 USD/year
Free trial: We may offer trial periods. At the end, you will be charged automatically unless you cancel
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period
Cancellation: You can cancel at any time from your Apple account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period
Refunds: Refunds are handled through Apple according to their policies

5. Acceptable Use

By using FinQuest, you agree to:

Not use the app for illegal activities
Not attempt to access other users' data
Not reverse engineer or modify the app
Not use bots or automated systems beyond official integrations (Apple Pay, Shortcuts)
Provide accurate information when creating your account

6. Intellectual Property

FinQuest, including its design, code, graphics, icon, name, and content, is the property of its creators. The financial data you enter is yours. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app under these terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

FinQuest is not a financial advisor. The app is a personal organization tool. Categorization suggestions, budgets, and AI-generated insights are informational and do not constitute professional financial advice. Financial decisions you make based on app information are your responsibility.

To the extent permitted by applicable law:

We do not guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted
We are not liable for financial losses resulting from app use
We are not responsible for the accuracy of automatic categorization
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the last 12 months

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the app available, but do not guarantee 24/7 availability. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect the service. We reserve the right to discontinue the service with at least 30 days' notice.

9. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all your data at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may also suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

10. Modifications

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San José, Costa Rica.
